THE END OF THE MINISTER

The father/priest Dimmesdale someone we all looked up to and respected officially has died. Not only did he leave us, he left us with a question we cant answer. The people of the town all felt that his ceremony on Election day not only was given with a lot of passion but believed that it was the best one he has held and a lot of people were moved by the sermon.
After Dimmesdale did his ceremony he was walking out of the meeting hall but some people saw him hesitate and saw that he called out for Hester and Pearl and he grabbed onto Hester for support after he got on the scaffold. That is when he stared at the crowed and started speaking, “god has lead me here”. Everyone in the crowd had a lost look and were confused on what he was doing, until he started speaking confessing that he had commited a sin and not only did Hester have a red stigma and that was when he revealed to the crowd that he had a letter “A” on his chest some people say it looked like Hester’s but other say they didn’t see anything. After he confessed his sin to the people he sanked onto the scaffold. Pearl walked up to him and gave him a kiss and Hester also walked to him and some people said that she was asking him if they would spend their lives together in the afterlife but his answer was that god was the one to decide that. That was when he said his farewell and died.
The death of the beloved priest Dimmesdale left the people in confusion. Some people believe that revealing his “sin” was just a away to tell people that even the holiest people could sin other thought that it was from the poisonous medicine from doctor Chillingworth. I believe that he was just admitting to be sorry for committing a sin and bringing a child into the whole thing. After a year or so the doctor of the town Chillingworth dies, and shortly after his death everyone realizes that Hester and Pearl weren’t there anymore they vanished from the town. That had many people thinking of what happened to them, but ever since that the letter “A” became a legend through out the town. Hester finally came back to the town to live in her cottage, but she came alone this time, who knows what happened to her beloved daughter Pearl, could she have had ran away or maybe Hester got rid of her? No one will really know because shortly after coming back Hester passed away.
And the questions are still lingering in the air why exactly did father Dimmesdale confess to the town his sin after so long? And why did Hester come back to the town alone? No one will never really know the answer to any of those questions.
